DAR SALWA

Crude Oil tanker Dar Salwa (IMO: 9534779, Port of Registry: Kuwait) was delivered in 2010 from Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering Co. The vessel is 333 meters long and 60 meters wide. With a maximum draught of 22 meters and deadweight of 319,660, she is able to carry up to 1.2 million barrels of oil. The Dar Salwa is the first of four VLCC's to be built for her owner Kuwait Oil Tanker Company (KOTC). Her sister vessels are Al Salmi, Umm Al Aish and the Al-Rigga.

The Dar Salwa arrived this morning at the Vopak Terminal, Rotterdam in empty condition to load a cargo of fuel oil.
